Project description
NOVIDADE (Novos Itinerários da Idade / New Itineraries of the Age) is a EU funded initiative focused on aging, gerontology, and inclusion. It seeks to build transatlantic exchanges between Europe and Brazil, fostering collaboration and synergies within the field of gerontology. The project specifically aims to strengthen professional training in Brazil to improve responses to aging, inclusion, and social innovation. The initiative will offer specialized training programs for professionals working with older adults, providing both theoretical and practical learning based on innovative pedagogical methodologies.
Objectives
- Support the internationalization of organizations in Europe and Latin America
- Contribute to the application of innovative andragogical methods in the area of care and training for older people
- Expand and improve a curriculum on institutional practices for care leaders/managers
- Expand and improve a curriculum on community work
