Project Description

SILVERights – Bridging Generations for Rights, Accountability and Democratic Participation aims to foster intergenerational civic engagement and strengthen community capacity to defend, promote, and advocate for the rights, dignity, and well-being of older adults in the EU, by increasing public awareness, civic literacy, and active citizen participation in addressing elder abuse and neglect, safeguarding fundamental rights, and finally, promoting
democratic values.

      • Create opportunities for collaboration, dialogue and active learning between community members of different generations, for the benefit and safety of older adults
      • Raise awareness and promote civic literacy on older adults’ rights

    Expected results

      • Intergenerational Civic Circles: interactive sessions bringing together older adults, youth, carers, students and organisations to discuss dignity, justice, solidarity and democratic participation.
